It also includes links to articles about the business side of the entertainment business that I find interesting and/or that I think add to one's overall sense of what's going on in the industry. It's mostly been focused on film so far, but as we get into TV pilot season, I'll include more TV business-related links as well.

www.itsonthegrid.com - IOTG is an online database of film development information, much of which (such as the open writing and directing assignment information) is available nowhere else. The site is designed as a tool for entertainment industry professionals that is just as useful to people looking to break into the business or who are simply passionate about the movie business. We expand the database every day, and as of this writing we've got nearly 1300 projects, over 3800 people and over 800 companies in the system. Everything on the grid is searchable and sortable, and each record is linked so you can easily drill into the details about who's working on what project, from writers and directors to agents and managers to studio executives and producers.
